I am the class apart from the whites.
I am addressed to a diverse place as for who I am, When there is a connection in procedure, However, I form chuckles, rAnd gather up all my perceptions, And affirm my purpose. In the future, I will remain in the place I was discharged, When the connection proceeds. There will be no more concern For the words expressed, “Eat in the kitchen,” indicating my discharge, When the time approaches. To add about, My resemblance will be noticed as of now, And remorse will be for whom had not noticed— That, I as well, am American.

Here in the United States, citizen “Americans” fit in with such name so. However, are they truly the only Americans? The answer is “no.” Being “American” is a term that describes people from the U.S. However, the term of “America” is far more spread out. Since the U.S. doesn’t have an ‘English’ adjective to describe its people, they refer themselves as Americans. But, there’s far more to explore than what is heard of. Let’s take for example, Mexico. Mexico’s people are referred to as Mexicans considering they have an adjective to describe themselves in Spanish. And speaking of the Spanish language, there is a word for ‘Americans’ to be described by. It’s the term “estadounidense/s.” Now, the Spanish language is more brief about the logic of an American. Since they have an adjective to describe a native from every country in the world, they do the same about describing people from their continent. However, the U.S. describes every people from their continent except the Americas. Mexicans, Salvadorans, Colombians, Chileans, Argentines, and many more countries from the Americas are considered to be Americans too. But, the thing is that the U.S. brings the perception of tradition of calling themselves by their continent and refer the rest of the countries of the Americas by describing their people by their country. Nonetheless, this is not the only idea of what it is to be American. This term is also used to express who you are, not what people believe. For example, during the times of segregation, blacks wouldn’t be classified as Americans but more likely by their ancestors from Africa. But, they were still Americans, as they were born in America and they believed they were Americans like the whites. In other words, they thought they should also have freedom like the whites did. Therefore, this brings the question which is, what is “the American life?” In general, there is no American life, but in specification and traditional perception, the American life is a life of many rights and freedom and gargantuan opportunities. Wait, why is there no American life in general? Well, no one can explain the life of a continent that is divided into multiple countries which divide into cities, which then divides into areas with diverse authorities, traditions, & cultures, thoroughly and accurately. In conclusion, “American” and “America” have a huge controversy when it comes to both of these questions.
This project of The Little Prince represents relationships. It shows how the pilot symbolizes each object with his judgment. He also contributes each of the objects to each other such as how he judged the rose as being the vain, the sheep in the box being innocent, and the little prince as the stars. He says that because the rose is the only thing the prince protected since it was the only thing he tamed but when he became the stars, the innocence of the sheep can overtake the vanity of the rose or in other words, the sheep can eat the rose unprotected and the stars will cry because the rose will disappear and the little prince will have nothing to have tamed.
Descartes's epistemology about "I think, therefore I am," has to do with the irrefutable truth. His quote is irrefutably true because he is thinking about his existence. Since he is thinking that he exists, that prove his existence. To be more clear in the image above, there is no doubt that the person is perceiving. That is the rational mind , or in other words, an individual reason such as control over the six passions unaffected by authority or tradition. However, perception, or the intuition of the mind, is dubitable because it can be confused. Perception also has a clearer definition, which the result of thinking. In the image above, everyone won't have a particular answer because authority, tradition, & culture taught us how to see things their way. That is known as the rational doubt. Referring back to "perceiving," it is technically an individual thought. And back to Descartes's quote. "I think, therefore I am," since he's perceiving he knows he exists with the use of the irrefutable truth.
For our Abstract Art Project, we decided to write an abstract picture which symbolises Order. In a democracy, the president is the leader. Therefore, the people represent the yellow and red figures and connect to the leader which is surrounded in pink and purple to represent the royalty of him or her. The blue background represents all the order the president or person in charge can have. Just imagine comparing the popularity of the people to an ocean. The red represents the multiple ways democracy can be controlled, positively or negatively, and the yellow represents the act of controlling a democracy.
Since the last time, it was said that the quote "I think, therefore I am" meant that it is the purpose to use knowledge to prove existence in the world in that particular self-subject. Now that it is known what it means, to prove existence, the purpose is to perceive you exist, therefore you exist. In contrary, the act of perceiving is an irrefutable truth which means it's dubitable. In other words, the quote means that since Descartes is thinking, therefore is he is (existent).
The Growth vs. Fixed mindset has many details in which were explained by scientists and teachers who sacrifice by giving their contribution. Growth vs Fixed mindset goes along with details because you use them to analyze information. Marina Krakovsky mentions, ”If you want to demonstrate something over and over, it feels like something static that lives inside of you - whereas if you want to increase your ability, it feels dynamic and malleable,” which is resourceful, that way people with fixed mindsets can believe in themselves to do better and you can encourage others to also do better. “The determination to master new things and surmount challenges,” is another helpful statement because if you are determined about something then you will be able to surpass your goal or determination. There are many people who contribute to this by simply saying “You can do anything,” by helping them believe in themselves so that you don’t doubt yourself that much and you can elevate them into thinking they can reach for any of their goals. It might not seem like it but every one of us has two types of mindsets; Growth and Fixed mindsets. Growth mindset is when you overcome the obstacles yet, fixed mindset is when we just give up without trying.
Growth vs. Fixed mindsets are important, for example, we will know why some kids are really good at doing certain things and how we can help kids with fixed mindsets; kids who have complicated times passing classes. Growth vs. Fixed mindsets also matter since we can help kids with these type of mindsets and tell them to never give up. Perhaps, tell them to succeed higher than they ever have before. Growth vs. Fixed mindsets also matter because you can tell kids that they can do the best when that are encouraged or feel that they are capable of reaching any type of goal that they aim for. Growth and fixed mindsets may not seem important at all, but they actually make a great change into our lives. Growth vs. Fixed mindsets can also be essential because from them, we can learn about our mistakes and make sure we keep trying and never give up. Therefore it would be better to have a growth mindset and learn new things, rather than having a fixed mindset by always giving up. Our poster connects to the main idea of the topic. To begin with, the light green part of the school represents the growth mindsets, yet the dark green represents the fixed mindsets of the students in school. Also, the cars represent the success of finishing school and moving on to another school to be successful in order to continue on with your career. The flowers on the title show the details and structure of what it means to be a good at what you do. The arrows on the poster connect to contribution for being a hard working, overachieving, and dedicated student. Finally, on the cloud in the title demonstrates the students thinking on what growth vs. fixed mindsets are. |
